This story caught my attention today. Its titled "Security Guard Prayed for Divine Guidance Before Shooting Gunman" or as I would put it, Crazy person guns down other crazy person.
This is something that always bothers me about overly religious people. They claim that god has a direct hand in just about everything that happens in their life, especially if its anything good.
So she has just gunned down some craised christian assassian and what does she attribute her good shooting skills and calm demeaner under pressure? Is it her many years on the police force, the countless hours of training and real world experience she has had...no it was God. He was there with her pulling the trigger, because apparently she was on some sort of divine misison to takedown this killer.
And the sad thing is all of this is painted in a glowing positive light by the paper.
Ugh.
